DOCUMENTATION OF COURSEWORK

The courses listed below highlight my knowledge and learning in French, business, economics, culture and literature, and others. All of the courses listed were taken and completed by me at Clemson University or Université Paul Valéry.

FRENCH COURSES

FR 1010-1020 Elementary French Instructed in French. Introduces the basic principles of French and encourages conversations with class peers and French-speaking natives.

FR 2010-2020 Intermediate French

Instructed in French. Continues learning French grammar and teaches new tenses to further French education.

FR 3050 Intermediate French Conversation and Composition I Instructed in French. Students hold weekly conversations in French and present exposés to improve public speaking in French.

FR 3160 & 4160 French for International Business I & II

Instructed in French. Learn about how to start a business in France. Research various French companies. Prepare for the DFP exam. Learn and present various Francophone countries.

French Phonetics (University of Minnesota Twin Cities)

Instructed in French. Learn proper pronunciation and phonetic spellings.

French Grammar/Methodology (University of Minnesota Twin Cities) Instructed in French. Improve French reading and writing skills.

Civilization of the South of France (University of Minnesota Twin Cities)

Instructed in French. Learn about the history of settlements in the south of France and different civilizations and cultures in the various regions of the south of France.

French Medieval Literature (University of Minnesota Twin Cities)

Instructed in French. Studies Chrétien de Troyes’s Le Chevalier de la Charrette, the story of Lancelot.

Theory/History of Cinema (University of Minnesota Twin Cities)

Instructed in French. Explores influential French film genres throughout periods of world history in the 20th century.

Introduction the requirements for the major. Create and Linkedin accounts.

ACCT 2010 Financial Accounting Concepts

Introduction to accounting. Work with balance sheets and accounting equations.

MGT 2010 Principles of Management

Learn basic principles of management and business organization as well as how to lead a team.

MKT 3010 Principles of Marketing

Focus on common marketing strategies and brand images.

MKT 3020 Consumer Behavior

Learn ways to appeal to consumers and conduct final project of marketing a new product.

ENGL 3040 Business Writing

Focus on improve writing skills in professional settings such as emails, resumes, and cover letters. Develop and write a proposal to improve marketing campaign for CAPS.

MKT 4270 International Marketing

Navigate marketing and business discussions in a global setting and enhance cultural awareness. Design a strategy for a company to enter a new foreign market for final project.

MGT 4230 International Business Management

Further improve business operations in a global setting and learn management skills for various cultures.

These courses set the foundations of economics and explore supply and demand trends and fundamental skills.

ECON 3140 and 3150 Intermediate Micro and Macro Economics

These courses take a deeper dive into economics and challenge students to apply concepts to current events.

ECON 3100 International Economics

Looks at economics on a global scale, comparing GDP, deflation, and inflation in various currencies and economic markets.

ECON 4100 Economic Development

Learn about critical human developments such as the wheel and the alphabet and early economics in ancient trade routes. Studies excerpts from Guns, Germs, and Steel.

ECON 4980 Economics of Soccer

Explore economics of soccer in Europe in the transfer market, managers, club spending and acquisitions.

ENGL 1030 Composition and Rhetoric (LAIB)

This course aims to improve various writing techniques and includes a semester-long research paper and group project.

ANTH 2010 Introduction to Anthropology

Learn about the anatomy, timeline, development, and aspects of the first civilizations on Earth.

POSC 1040 Introduction to Comparative Politics

Compares the histories and government regimes of the UK, China, Russia, and South Africa. Conducted a research paper on which I compared France and the UAE and the effect of natural resources in both regions.

HLTH 2030 Health Care Systems

Learn about various health care systems, insurance, laws, and the history of medicine in the United States.
